July 4, 2024 This annual parade is always on the holiday and is one of the largest Independence Day parades in the country with over 200 parade entries. The 6th Middlesex Regiment represents the Chelmsford Minutemen as a premier group in the first division. With more than 20 muskets attending, the group fired more than 40 volleys over the 2.5 mile parade route, while marching to more than 20 tunes courtesy of Concord fife and drum.
